The Cast members took them to the front of the line...cleared the ride...and took his family an a private tour....once down stairs the were the only people on the Doombuggies for the whole ride...once they finished the regular line started right back up.. Dizpins Ohana Member Posts: 1534 (10/08/06 02:45 PM) Lord Smoked Meats and Fishes Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Last week I was given a button with the logo on it, simply for asking the cast member for info on the promotion Then later that same day, me and a friend traded with a cast member, and since I had all the pins, I traded for a pin for her, and a pin for me, and she made a comment about how I owed her a pin cuz she bought me lunch anyhow, the castmember said we sounded like good friends, so he gave her the Tink pins, with one to keep, one to share. Off to the park in a few mins, so we'll see what happens today ~~Vanessa~~ ~aka.. pretty Jedi Omi... yeah~ "What is a bite on the butt amongst friends? Here, give me a nibble."

We got this just by walking up in the line. We were given Honorary Disneyland Citizen buttons and then given our private tour. It was great for my 5 year old son as he was a bit nervous about the new mansion. On our trip we were given the Tink pin sets 4 different times for random acts of kindness. I found it odd as out here in the Midwest it is just ordinary behaviour, but apparently on the West Coast being nice is out of the ordinary. LOL. I did not see any actual handing out of the dream team squad, but lots of the lanyards and fastpasses were seen on people in the parks. Cincypintrader

Posts: 98 (10/16/06 12:29 PM) Dizpins Ohana Member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Okay I just got back from 5 days at WDW. 1st "dream" - my sons (6 & 7) were trading with a CM and he gave them Incredibles buttons to match their shirts. This was at Magic Kingdom, I noticed a lot more Dream Team at MK than the other parks. 2nd Dream - We got Dream Fast Passes for three of us on my birthday. Just the three that were standing line (for POC) so we got the passes (even though there were 6 of us). I was hoping for a "golden" fass pass, but these are dated and only have one fast pass for each ride or show, for that park. 3rd Dream - At MGM my boys were given the Tink pins while waiting for Dad to ride RNRC 4th Dream - At MGM Fantasmic we did the dinner package and we were seated in the section and a CM asked my Dad if we needed anything. He asked where he could buy the light-up things for his Grandsons and the CM came back with two globes that lit up and handed them to my boys. She said she loved to see a Grandpa having fun with his Grandsons. 5th Dream - At Animal Kingdom my boys were given passes for ice cream when they traded with a Dream Team CM. Basically pin trading with the Dream Team CMs was the best thing that could happen! We really had a wonderful time! Hope you all can go this year! I think the whole YOAMDs is a great thing!! We were actually held back on the ride while these people won, and were made to exit as if nothing had happened. I watched as one woman in a family got the fastpass while everyone else had to walk away empty-handed. Even though I personally can not win, my friends and extended family were with me. It was one of the most upsetting things I've experienced at WDW. I think the promotion is fun, but they need to handle the prize handout process differently. I just think the current system has too many opportunities to be abused and also to create uncomfortable situations like the one you described. just my opinion.
