Yet another release of five Figment pins from WDI on top of the pin bag and framed pins they just released earlier ...ugh keeping up with Figment this year is challenging and especially unkind to the bank account. Especially considering the large number of figment pins being released at the PTU. Rant off... However, the "ohhh shiny effect" for Figment pins has not disappeared, so Disney will keep reeling Carol and me in with them. Just hope that they slow down a little and not over-saturate us with Figment pins. What's with all of the Figment this year??? Between WDI and PTU, I won't have much of a bank account left (and I'm not going into all the Haunted Mansion releases this year) - all that is needed to make this year complete (please note the sarcasm) is for PTU to have an LE 3 'Dream Figment' for $1,500 on the 4th RSP. rolls eyes Let's hope that does NOT happen. I like the WDI designs as they are unique and fun, and I love how they are using sketches from the Imagineering books. Guess I know what I'll be ordering come Monday! I like the WDI designs for the Figment pins, but the volume of pins they are releasing plus the low edition size has me turned off from trying to collect them. I think the pins they are releasing should just be LE park pins for the most part, since they aren't WDI specific. This way they wouldn't be on Ebay at rediculous prices 5 minutes after they go for sale at WDI. It would be one thing if they released 5-10 pins a month in total, but I think the released over 20 pins for the Toy Story Mania opening alone. I fear they are going to release more trash cans, so I'm not sure if my trash can collection will exclude WDI pins like the rest of my collections that I try to be a completest with do. Maybe I'm just jealous that I can't get them without going to Ebay, but so far I haven't been adding them to my collection.
