Does anyone have any not so obvious packing or touring tips for Disney World? This will be my 8th trip (I think) so is there anything outside of the box you would suggest about the parks? Anything fun or anything to make the trip a little better. We are only going for a couple days so I am only visiting the main four and don't think I have any time to hotel hop specially since I won't have a car... I'll start! -In my luggage I pack a shoebox sized Rubbermaid type container, that way on the way home I have something to put any breakables in! -We always pack a second suitcase with nothing in it but a case of water, this way we have cheap water for the week and secondly we have an extra suitcase to bring home everything we acquired on the trip! We just fill the sink with ice the night before and in the morning have cold water -Carabiners are your friend! I got mine at the dollar store and clip a couple to my backpack, that way I have somewhere to hang a bag, or a drying hotel mug! erica Have a Magical Day

This one should have been obvious, but apparently was not to me: When I was there in May for the AK event, I didn't pack my spritzer bottle. It was much hotter than I expected and I regretted not having it.

Since the only way to get there (for me) is by plane, I carry on my pins. Being said that, I make sure my carry on is a rollie suitcase or a rollie backpack. I have shipped stuff ahead of time using Flat rate Priority Mail, addressed to my hotel and to my attention and check in date. Stuff that I've sent ahead are: bubbled wrap, little baggies to put my pins in, and even toiletry items that are bigger than 3 oz. Print out your wants andtraders. That way you know what pins you're looking for, and crossed out the pins as you get them, making the updating of your pinpics easier when you get back home.

Florida this time of year is hot and humid. So be sure to wear light colored, light-weight clothing that breathes. Preferably cotton. Although it's been extremely dry, FL is known for sudden and frequent showers. So if you have room bring a lightweight rain ponch. Many of the dollar stores carry them and are much cheaper than "branded" versions. Be sure to bring a hat or cap. Our sun in unrelenting down here! And for risk of sounding like my mother, wear comfortable, sensible shoes. You'll be on your feet a long time. Aside from fashion tips, a small misting bottle or a small hand-held fan (don't extra batteries) can be a life-saver while waiting in long lines!! We have a palm-sized fan that has a built-in mister and works like a squirt gun. It even has a belt clip for easy carrying. I believe we got these at Wal Mart (around the fan dept) for under $5 each. Money well spent. Of course bring lots of $$$. And most of all have lots of fun!!

One, for next time, the tours themselves are greatif you have never done one. They can be alittle exspensive but you do get to go behin the scenes, some even come with a pin. Second eat at a hotel. The park food is wonderful, especially epcot, but the hotels have some really nice places to eat as well. Plus it lets you see more of Disney than just the parks.... °O°Chernabog1982°O°
