Greetings, all! I'm a bit shy about making my first post. -^^-
My name's Katherine, but my online friends call me Katheh, Kath, or Pika. I'm a teenager currently living in the United States (but alas, nowhere within driving distance of a Disney park). As far back as I can remember, I've had an appreciation for (and occasional obsessions with) all things Disney. It was only during my second trip to WDW in the spring of 2002 that my interest became piqued about pin collecting and trading. During my stay, I enjoyed purchasing new pins and trading some with Cast Members. Last fall, in an effort to raise money for other things I collect, I sold my collection, lanyard and all, in a yard sale. However, thanks to a few good friends at LiveJournal, my interest has recently been rekindled, and now I'm gradually rebuilding my collection, starting with the two pins I decided to keep. =)
I would mainly like to collect pins from the lesser-known movies (Oliver & Company and The Brave Little Toaster are two of my current favorites), Japanese pins, Christmas pins, and very selective Mickey and Minnie pins. Although it's beside the point, I'm also a huge Pokemon fan, so I collect Pokemon pins as well. Since my collection is so small, I'm mainly interested in buying pins as opposed to trading them.
