I have a few pins that I am concerned may not be the real deal and I was wondering if someone with more experience than me could help (I've only been doing this for about 1 month). I have the Louie pin where he is grimacing on a green t-shirt. On the back it says, "Cast Lanyard Serise" (with the quotes and incorrect spelling of series). Should I be concerned about the quotes and misspelling? Also, I have a few of the villian pin and on the back the words Cast Lanyard Series is again in quotes. I have several others from the same year that have the words not in quotes. Any advice would be helpful.

Given the misspelling and the fact that PinPics says there are known scrappers of the Louie pin, I'd say odds are it's a fake, sorry.
I don't recall seeing quotation marks on the backs of cast lanyard pins either, but I'm by no means an expert on all of them. 'Twas brillig! Jabberwocky
