I have to say when I was helping Scoop out during his pin talk and suddenly out in the crowd I hear: "It's Jes!" And Donald and Aimee appear(lebanc66 and AimeeBelle who are from my area and we go to local meets together)! It was such a great moment!! Then I got to pick a pin of Scoops lanyard, since Aimee had gasped at seeing a Belle she didn't recognize I had to get that for her. Scoop asked me why I was picking Belle. I said: "Cuz Aimee wants it," and he hands Belle to Aimee and lets me pick another pin. Later on during "What's my flippin' pin?" Scoop awarded me my Scoop pin. All in all that was the BEST hour of my pin trading career and the best part was I got to share it with friends! What is your favorite pin? EVIL QUESTION!!! Last time I did this it was "Go to Disneyland" but I'm doing that in a few weeks... I don't know. I've done a lot of things in my life. I guess all I really have left to do is fall in love, marry, and have children. Ya know, that side stuff. What else do you want people to know about yourself? Believe it or not I can be very shy. Especially when I'm one on one with a person I don't know very well and somewhere that isn't "home". I've never made it more than 45 minutes at a WDW pin meet, not because of the people, but because I feel a panic attack coming on. Even if I've met you online, I get WAAAAY anxious in person. Anxiety runs in my family and I'm a HUGE worrier. On the other hand, I've never suffered from stage fright and can speak in front of large groups with no problem. I can make a fool of myself in large groups with even less problem. Other than that I'm a rather happy-go-lucky Math Teacher that can find humor in just about every situation. I use sarcasm WAAAAAY too much, but I love it. (At least I amuse myself.) I love to write. I enjoy Logic puzzles. I'm currently addicted to Sudoku. Italian food is my favorite. I love to read. I've climbed Mt Washington (in NH) twice. My favorite family pin moment is this: First you have to know that most people in my family don't get the pin thing. My mom wants to get the pin thing, but doesn't have time, my brother has pins but doesn't trade, my Dad thinks I do it to kill time in the parks, and my sisters think I'm just nuts. Anyway, back to the story. One night I was organizing a pin bag on the living room floor and watching Law & Order with the fam. One of my sisters who was in a particularly bad mood that night told my Dad to order me to stop being a "weird pin person." I thought it would be fun, and since the CM's have to trade it took the fear of rejection away. As I grew more confortable it became a great way to talk to people. There is always something new on the next lanyard- it's like a scavenger hunt(especially with the lanyard series)- 6 years later it is even more fun and exciting. What is you favorite magical moments dealing with pins and/or pin trading? I was in Tony's restaraunt at Christmas looking for lanyard pins. I started talking with a CM who noticed my GWP Lilo and Stitch candy cane pin. He was also buying from the DA auctions, trying to get the GWP pins. I didn't end up trading with him because I had the lanyard pins he was wearing- but he gave me a CTT. I was so excited!!! I kept telling my family " I got a CTT pin"! What is your favorite pin? Pin 8333: WDW - Cast ID Badge/Card (Mickey Mouse) It was my first Holy Grail pin. If you won the lottery today, how would you spend it? I would tour all the "castles" then I would live on each Disney Cruise ship for a year- Then I would permamently relocate to a cruise ship- I think it is called "the World" where you can buy a suite on it and it becomes your floating home...I saw it on the travel channel. Originally, I thought it was a great way to obtain the pins I wanted without paying too much on e-Bay. However, I continue to trade because I love meeting new people and thoroughly enjoy all the wonderful friendships that have developed as a result of pin trading. What is your favorite magical moments dealing with pins and/or pin trading? I think just about everyone that was here last November knows this one...lol. For me, it was finding the LE 50 Biting Stitch on a lanyard. I was having a rather rough couple of months looking for a job, and a couple of really terrific friends took me to DLR to get away from everything. We had just begun lanyard hunting for the day, and stopped at the pin cart near the DA window. We were talking to the CM and she was being so informative and nice. She let my friend Kim (kcntigger) look through her refresher bag to find a specific Pin-a-palooza pin that she was missing. After she found it I asked to look at the bag, too. First, I saw an ear that was Stitch blue. I wanted to investigate so I pulled the pin out to see which one it was - I never imagined it would be the LE 50. I practically cried...though according the Don, I did. Anyway, I traded some Le I had on my lanyards for it...I could not even tell you what it was anymore. The rest of the weekend was wonderful, and at PTN that weekend, everyone kept trying to get me to part with the pin...either that or they wanted to "pet it." (I only find this funny because I do it ALL the time. What is your favorite pin? I do not have just one, but my favorites are probably: Pin 30437: Disney Auctions - Stitch Biting DA Logo (GWP), Pin 5899: Disney Auctions - Winnie the Pooh 75th Anniversary (Tigger), Pin 12919: Disney Auctions - Lilo & Stitch (Tourist Stitch). These are the top 3 that come to mind, but I really do love all my pins so much that it makes it difficult to choose. If you won the lottery today, how would you spend it? Well, that all depends on how much money it was...lol. First, I would have to take care of my mother and get her competent medical care to hopefully better manage her pain. BIG check to local homeless shelter, then ck to church then pay off all bills/buy new home for us and have us professionaly moved, same for parents of both, new cars, college educations for all kids we know, 2 weeks on the Platinum Plan at DW in a suite. 23. 1 week at DW...1 week on Cruise...2nd wk at DW..all on the Platinum plan etc. 24.. hubby works at a homeless shelter and I volunteer there (that's how we met..staff set us up!)... Everyone deserves a place to sleep evernight...

Getting to meet and spend time with people I met on these boards from throughout California and from out of state. Some live here in Southern California but not very close to where I live, so I never would've met them if it wasn't for this hobby! What is your favorite pin? Can't even come close to answering that one! If you won the lottery today, how would you spend it? To start, throw a HUGE party (which would include flying friends in from wherever they live so they could attend)! Arrange for my parents and my sister to live very comfortably, set up trust funds for my nephew and two nieces, then go travelling around the world.
