Obviously Alice is my favorite female lead Disney character although she is not a princess.
My next three favorites are: Mulan Pocahontas Meg (from Hercules) None of them are princesses either (although Pocahontas is the daughter of a chief, so maybe that counts).

Since we could only vote for one, I chose Esmerelda. The other 2 would be Mulan and Aurora. But Esmerelda is my absolute favorite, even tho she's not a
princess.
