Do people just like the aesthetics of HM pins - typical colors (blue, black), motifs (ghosts)? Or is it that HM is not as 'sweet' as many other Disney pin topics - it's sort of more adult? Jessica seems to fall in this same category. Pirates popularity I attribute to the movies. Were Pirates pins so hotly collected before the movies came out?

My favorites are the Sword in the Stone (I'm a huge King Arthur fan, my house is almost a K.A. library, of sorts) and Maleficent, but I tend to buy whatever catches my fancy, really. No HM pins for me, though I couldn't say why, really. I guess they just never really caught my fancy, huh? :-)

On another note, there's quite a phenomenon going on right now where the DA Masterpiece Series pins are going for prices twice (or five times) what they were going for less than six months ago.
