 I have a friend that is currently on a 7 day Disney cruise. I asked him to pick up the latest AC pin & captains choice pin. He was told Disney is not releasing those pins now. The last ones were released before the 2007 pincruise. They said maybe a new program for 2008. The only new LE pin was the Christmas pin. Has anyone else heard anything. I will be cruising New Years. Not back from vacation yet.. on the road traveling home....
And to answer your question....  I don't know about AC pins, but the new Captain's Choice pins will feature a unique backer card with additional information about each Captain. It will also contain a place for the Captain to autograph the pin. 2 pins are shown above that will be released in 2008. Joette

I had also noticed that there did not seem to be any recent AC pins...
Looks like now is the ideal time to frame ours if there wont be any more,,,,and will have to look for something else to collect. I suppose nothing lasts for ever but will really miss these. Martin |

 Yes Martin, we also enjoyed collecting the A/C cruiseline pins.They seemed special because you had to take the cruise to get them. We know several couples that also collect these pins. We would take turns cruising and get the pins for one another. These A/C pins will be missed. |

My wife and I are going on our first cruise in April 2008 for our 25th anniversary. I'm also an avid pin trader/collector. Does this mean there will only be open edition pins availble for purchase?

There will be LE pins available... check out Mickey's Mates and also they have a pin cart in the lobby every night around 7:30 pm. Have a great cruise and Happy Anniversary!!  P.S. Once you cruise, you will be addicted... worse than pins.. trust me, I know... we will be going on our 8th cruise in 2008!!!! Joette

  The best way to find out about upcoming pins is the site www.odpt.com. click on new releases and upcoming pins. It will show new pins and where they are being released. Hope this helps. ,
