This special January 2010 pin features Mickey Mouse himself riding the Disneyland® Railroad attraction - and contains an actual remnant of a railroad spike from this beloved attraction! As we mentioned back in December, this pin release will be utilize a new on-line wristband distribution process. The purpose of this on-line process is to promote a fair, equitable and enjoyable experience for Guests visiting the Disneyland® Resort. To enter the random drawing for a chance to purchase this pin, please CLICK THIS LINK This pin will be released at Little Green Men Store Command inside Disneyland® Park in conjunction with the on-line wristband distribution process. Theme Park admission to Disneyland® Park is required. Please see the registration form for official details and regulations on this random drawing. Registration for the random drawing will close at 11:59 p.m. (PST) on January 12, 2010. Didn't the Chip & Daile Railroad pin last February also include a RR spike from the RR? The way I look at it, any child under the age of 16 is going to need a parent to take them to the park anyway, so what is the difference if the parent gets the pin instead of the child? Plus, with an edition size of 2000 I don't think there is really anything to be concerned about. I'm willing to bet that not a single pin from the series will sell out the day of release. Just my two cents... Oh, and if your child isn't old enough to drive you can always get them a state issued ID card. It is probably a good idea to have anyways in cases of emergency. I got myself one so that I wouldn't lose my liscence bar hopping again (hee hee...ahh, those were the days!). I've e-mailed them before (and/or event services) and have gotten pretty quick replies, usually within 24 hours, so as soon as I get a reply, I will post it here, 'kay? People who were bringing their under-16 kids in for their free birthday admissions in 2009 had to show I.D. such as a birth certificate, so I'm guessing it would be the same for the POH release? Potential purchasers must appear in person, with valid ID and a copy of appropriate documentation, to make the allotted pin purchase. Valid Theme Park admission is required to enter Disneyland® Park for the purchase opportunity. The opportunity to purchase the pins may not be transferred or sold, and if not used, will be forfeited. Dizpins Ohana Member Posts: 2458 (01/05/10 09:14 PM) a whole new world Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I tried to sign my dtr up for the rsp and it requires a birthdate. did all the steps and then i get the reply "sorry you are to young to enter this" bullpucky!!! if i can get her into an event and do an rsp for her WHY should i not be able to enter her in for the RSP for the poh??????????? anyone with common sense please explain that to me?? and hannette, a bucket of ice water would not be enough to cool me off at this point! i am still upset by this. if she can buy pins, go to a disney event like the 9/9/9 event and do a rsp for it why she cannot get a rsp for a poh is simply beyond my comprehension. I do agree that it was a bit repatitive to do the railroad again...I wish they had started off with a DCA attraction! Sarah P.S: I also agree that it should not be a problem for kids to get a pin since the edition has been raised and their parents can register. We have to be patient and allow them to work out the kinks, because the alternative is the mass chaos that was last year(ugh)

An annual pass for a child is the same price as an adults.

Bigger question is has anyone tried to see what the cut off age is for registering the children for the RSP? Hopefully the kinks get worked out for you during the next POH RSP. Tinkagain: I would have to disagree. I think it was abused with other pin releases and that Disney was fed up with very young children getting wristbands. While this is not attacking or meant to offend you it is just my opinion. It may have not been intentional to not allow children to register for this POH RSP it may just be the way the account creation works on the disney.com website. Edit: As of right now I am going to figure out the age range they do not allow Edit #2: You must be at least 13 years or older to enroll in the RSP (do not worry I did not add extra entries into the RSP) Last Edited By: pluto 01/06/10 03:20 AM.
