I have heard it will be the last pin trading event there as they are closing. I am planning on going and it will be my first time. Can anyone tell me a little bit about it? Do they just turn you loose in a designated room? Are there tables and chairs? Are their games? Do they have special pin releases? I am really excited to be going but have no idea what to expect. Do you think their will be a large crowd seeing as it is the last planned event there? My sister will be joining me which makes me even more excited that we get to share this together. Yes, supposedly this will be the last pin trading morning event, as there is no event scheduled for December and the store is scheduled to close on December 31st! Pin trading has always taken place on the third floor of the store, right out in the open! The store sets up a handful of tables (no chairs) for the traders. For the past few pin trading events the cast members have not worn their lanyards as you enter the store, so everyone can come in without causing a bottleneck by searching for pins on lanyards! You know, there are non pin traders trying to get into the store on Saturday morning, as well! Once everyone has entered, the lanyards go on!! On the second floor, beginning at 10AM there has been a pin trading board. Sometimes you can trade one pin, sometimes, two. And at about 11AM the pin trading vest comes out. Lately there have been a lot of families that have been coming out for the pin trading, so lines can be long. Often, the pin traders go right upstairs to the third floor to trade. I don't think that there will be any special pin released, as nothing has been mentioned, but who knows!! I have also not heard if there will be anything special happening for the last event! There is usually a nice group of traders that come to the pin trading event with nice pins to trade and there are also families and children that come to trade, often not understanding that the traders are not cast members!! If you have time, following the morning WOD pin trading, the Central Jersey Disney Pin Traders have pin trading in Somerset, NJ from 1PM to 5PM!! It's about 45 minutes to an hour down the road! A bunch of the traders from the city ride over to Jersey to continue trading! I'm looking forward to meeting you!!! Connie
