Anyone know if DLR has any plans to organize the line up for these pins and if so how it will work...LE 50 is pretty small...hopefully there is some kind of plan...

Hopefully they will do it like they did the LE 100 frame set from last year where they handed out raffle tickets at 1 am and then chose one and that became the front of the line and then counted down 100 people from there and those people got a voucher for the frame set. It $$@+%$ off many people that had been hanging out since 6 pm and earlier but, to me, it was the fairest way to do it and the website did say to not show up before 1 am. We showed up at 12:45 am and got the voucher.

Hopefully they figure something out, put the information out there and stick to it...no reason to establish any procedure for it if they dont anticipate enforcing it...still unsure if I want these enough to deal with the headache

Security got in trouble for doing something that actually made sense? If true, way to reward your employees, Disney, for making decisions that have positive outcomes.

Timm mentioned (before he was canned) they were thinking of using an RSP system for the Pinbassador pins. I think that would work well for any high profile pin releases. You login to a website, put in the pins you want and the RSP tells you whether you got them or not. When they go on sale you go to the store, show your id, pick up and pay for your pins and go about your business.

There were some people at O'Pin House from Florida that were planning on coming back to attempt to purchase them. I would not rely on the fact that because they are expensive and someone does not want them who is local, that they will not be popular. I agree, there needs to be a way to figure out how to plan for all of the low edition items that are coming out this summer, including these.

The mansion pin IS beautiful! But I just can't spend $150 on it. But I do hope they make is nice and easy for those who want to buy them.

I would just love to see a person buying their limit of 2 pins and has a wife and 3 kids to do the same

That is correct. Each person can buy 1 of each. I didn't even come close to spending $450 on the opening weekend, I can't even imagine spending that much on 3 pins.

Even at $150 and LE 50, I can imagine there will be some madness surrounding this release. I'm still waiting for the day when I get to see a fight. To see that would make camping out overnight worth it.
