I set up the backing on the cardboard and was letting it set overnight. When I went to pull it out of the frame... the glass broke! So I have a couple questions: 1) Could I just leave the glass out of the frame and continue the board? I've seen some people do that. Is dust a big problem in that regard? 2) If I go to Home Depot and get a piece of plexi glass cut, is that good for the pins? I've heard some litho/poster companies say plexiglass can damage the colors after a while. 3) How hard would it be to just go somewhere, find a new frame, and just transfer the backing? Bottomline... I'm halfway through on my backing, it looks good so far and I DON'T WANT TO DO IT AGAIN!!! stitchnitch Anyone interested in getting together and having dinner at Wolfgang Puck's during MoP? I have also framed a couple without the glass. it is a matter of if you like it or not! and please post a pic when you finish, hope this helps. Your Signature ...

I prefer put the glass to to avoid the dust on pins. My Wants My Trades

Another alternative is if you have a larger piece of glass you can get it cut down to the size you need really cheap. A hardware store that makes keys should be able to do it. My Trades My Wants
