Thanks everyone! I'm so glad you guys like them! And I do find myself staring at them a lot! lol

DisneyScouter - all the frames are 8x10. Just cheapy ones I got at Target a long time ago. I did trace outlines as a guide. (I'm a decent drawer but I'm not that good! ) For the little frame I just used a DVD for the head and a can of baked beans for the ears! lol The bigger one could be a little tougher for everyone to do because I used a couple of bases from my Big Figures to trace around. They worked perfectly so I just did that.

If I didn't have those bases I probably would have taken some thread cut to the length I wanted my radius to be and then tied one end to a pencil and the other to a stick pin. I would put the stick pin in the appropriate place and then drawn the circle keeping the string pulled tight. It would take a lot more thought and measuring to do it this way, but it would get the job done.

Once you got your outline down then it is just a lot of placement. Mine fell together somewhat easily but there were some spots that were a challenge. I definately took my time and thought out the placement rather than just sticking them on, so that is something to think about. Since I was actually punching through paper I had to get it figured out and then push the pins in because if I changed my mind I didn't want to leave holes all over the place. Using a cork board would be a big plus in that department though. Maybe you could paint the cork white first so that the pins will "pop" more since sometimes they don't stand out against the brown background.

By all means, go for it! It is amazing how many pins you can use up and how much room you'll have in your books afterward!

I just finished some more frames! I'm so happy that I can see some of my favorite pins all the time now!

This one was super easy. Walmart had a cool new cork board frame to I just stuck the pins on and that was it. I should probably change the fabric backing to a different color but this will have to do for now:




Here's my Dreams set. I didn't think anything too special or creative was necessary, I just let the awesome pins speak for themselves!

And for this one I was inspired by Disney5's Dreaming Minnie idea (hope you don't mind! ). I had some trouble with the glare so I put in a couple of pics. Also, if you look closely, you see that two of these pins don't quite belong. I just used them as place holders until I can find the two pins I'm still missing from the Stitch and Disney Dogs pin set (hint hint to anyone looking for a trade! )
