From What's HapPINing....

And now for the first big announcement of the event. . .you were waiting for it. . . the Hidden Mickeys! We've published the Hidden Mickeys Guests will be looking for starting tomorrow on our large trading boards. They are on the first page of our Hidden Mickey page here.

This year we've done something a little different. The Hidden Mickey pins are completer pins to the series we actually began last year at Disney Pin Celebration 2008. We hope everyone loves them as much as we do!

And I'll also need the Dark Red Mickey and the Watermelon Mickey. Who's picking those up for us West Coasters????

Good. I want soom of these, but they might be hard to get. I really want the mellon and the ribbon. Also, why don't they have a completer pin for the Aloha set?

Can someone please find out... Will there be new sets of Hidden Mickeys being released in WDW and when? We are going to WDW in September and I was wondering if there will be new pins to look for instead of what has already been released.

LOVE the Test Track Fast Pass. My 5 year old collects Test Track pins so thats a must have!

I like the watermelon pin also. Too cute!!

Same here!
Took me months to get the Rockin Roller Coaster FP, they were going for $50 on the bay, I'll bet it will be the same for Test Track!

Thank you for the update! I was curious to what hm they were going to do. I see they are completers. Very nice. I can wait until they are released into the parks in a few months.

Since these new HM pins are completer pins we are speculating that they will become the next purchse with purchase pins in the near future. I think that they will be fairly easy to get once they become the purchase with purchase pins. I'm not planning to trade for extras of these. No idea why there isn't a pin to go with the Aloha group.

As with all previous sets, they only release completer pins for some of the sets and not all. Last year there were 10 completer pins, and the Seasons Chip and Dale, feet series, Tiki's, POTC, Muppets, Crystal ball's or Monorails did not have completers.

We did have a couple of questions yesterday about the newly released Hidden Mickey Completer pins. They were created especially for this event, and they will only be released at this event. There are no additional orders and there are no plans to ever order these pins again. Once the event is done, we won't be issuing any more for trade. It is something new we wanted to try this year for Disney Pin Celebration 2009.
