Next on our framing agenda was to make a frame set for our dad's birthday. We wanted to make something that would sort of match our mom's Snow
White frame, so this was perfect since our dad is a big fan of the Dwarfs. And this idea was particularily easy to come up with since his favorite scene is
the Dwarf mine!
The photo is actually a screen shot of the Dwarf Mine from the Snow White DVD 2nd Disc of Bonus Features We took a screen shot of it seconds before the words
for the bonus options appeared on the screen. Then we loaded the photo up onto our Photoshop program and tweaked the brightness, enriched the colors, and
resized it. The coolest thing about the photo is the shadow of a dwarf on the mine wall. It is almost a perfect match to be the shadow of the Grumpy pin!
LOL
Then we bought some flat costume jewelry half-gems, trying to matched ones that the dwarfs are holding in the pins, and glued them to the photo.
