Heya,

The paint has dried & the frame is put together! Still waiting for a couple pins to complete the set, but we couldn't help just finishing our 3rd frame set as much as we can for now.

We found the top photo (with the planets) on a Japanese desktop photos website while googling for some kind of space illustration for these pins. Being that there are 14 pins in the series (that is, we only want 14 pins in the series to be in this photo frame - the Jessica & Roger Space Age is going into another future frame set instead), we found we needed a larger photo to accommodate everything. We couldn't find anything that matched! So, we just used the first photo again and cropped out the planets for the bottom photo. But putting the two photos on top of each other made the bottom space look bare. So, we thought of different things to crop into the bottom photo...and nothing panned out...

After quitting on the project for a few hours, we ate lunch and were reminscing about WDW. Our dad said "If I could be anywhere in WDW today, I'd be at Spaceship Earth!" Light bulbs lit up and we thought of finding a photo of the top half of Spaceship Earth to crop into the bottom space photo.

The frame we bought at a local auction for $1 last week. Bad day for an outside auction though - it poured and completely ruined the original silver finish on the frame. So we bought a can of "hammered" texture silver spray paint and repainted it - trying for a space crater-look. (Unfortunately, the photos don't bring out the texture on the frame...)
