Just curious. My wife and I just bought into DVC on our April/May trip to WDW. Are any of the pin traders on this board DVC members?

We are - my DH plays golf while I tour the parks - we try to get down about 3 times a year (well, last year it was a few more times, but who is counting,
right?)
We've owned for two years now....best investment we ever made. It would only be better if we'd actually bought on any one of the 4 OTHER times toured between 1994 and 2006...but I couldn't convince DH to do it until Jan 06....

It is the best investment we ever made. We have been members sinec 1999. We ahve 3 kids and love the flexibility of the room size, having a kitchen, always
being on property...the list could go on forever.

members since 1996, OKW is are Home Resort. Also VB and BW , We live in the UK and use them every year or so.

We joined in 1998. One of the best decisions we made. Our home resorts are Boardwalk, Wilderness Villas, and Saratoga Springs. We use our membership about
4-5 times a year.

Personally, though we've looked into it more than once, it doesn't work for us.
The resorts are beautiful, but we didn't find the costs to fit in with our plans.

I'm a DVC member by osmosis. I've taken so many trips with my parents and family via DVC, they made me an honorary member (not really). They own at the
Boardwalk and Beach Club. I've stayed everywhere and they're all great for different reasons. They certainly don't regret their decision.

We have some points at Saratoga and Animal Kingdom. It's been awesome. We don't have that many points total (less than 200) but this year we were able
to take our neighbors down. They are a family of four that had never been down. They really couldn't afford to go with airfare and the room and the
tickets. Since we only went once the year before, we able to borrow a few points from next year and get two rooms (one for them and one for us) at Animal
Kingdom Lodge. This would have been a $300+ a night room and we could just give it to them.
It was awesome. Last year we did the same thing with my wife's sister for a long weekend during food and wine. Disney is SO much fun when you go down with family and friends. We bit the bullet 4 years ago and it's really starting to pay off now. I can also tell you a great plan we have for my daughter... Here in the North East, there is a right of passage where the week after high school graduation, all of the graduates head to the beach for "senior week". Lot's of craziness, drinking, and generally reckless behavior. My wife and I offered a free weeks stay at Saratoga for my daughter and her friends. They are already psyched about it and Ill feel a WHOLE lot safer with Disney craziness than senior week craziness. That alone was worth the price.  Jon: My name is Jon and I'm a pin collector.
