Please help me out, my daughter accidentaly knocked down my husband's Jessica pin corkboard, and the New Year's 2007 NYC pin fell off the board, and
Jessica on the cab is a pin on pin element, and it FELL OFF the other pin on pin, (the buildings w/ the 2007) which is on the pin base that says happy new
year, so the top layer of the pin on pin on pin has fallen off. How can I put it back together?

We've had good luck with Super Glue. My friend had this pin break:
Pin 15661: Nightmare Before Christmas Series (Corpse with Kid) Chain the kid fell off of the pin and she was able to super glue him back on. Since she was just planning on keeping the pin anyways, it worked. |

I can't imagine that JB Weld ( http://www.dizpins.com/mmc/broken_pin.htm ) wouldn't work to fix
this as well as long as you could get the compound behind the pin on pin part without it oozing out on the sides.

JB Weld is the way to go. Personally, I would never use superglue on a pin.

I'm talking super glue for pin-on-pin pieces only- not to fix the back of the pin. I couldn't see that working. But a year later the super glue is
still holding on her pin, so I'd say it works.

I have a broken diorama that I have tried supergle and the JB weld on and neither worked. I think it might *if* you got the shiny metal and enamel off the 2
sides... but since mine was a trade, I'm not messing that far with it since it arrived broken, and am sending it back.

JB Weld is the best to use - IF you are connecting two metal parts. If you are connecting Metal (the back of one part) to enamel (the front of another part),
I would highly recommend Super Glue GEL. It is far superior to the regular Super Glue, and does not run. I worked in a collectibles store and we used it on
darn near everything - the stuff is great! (And, no, we did not resell the glued items as new - they either went to 50% off or went home with one of us with
the owner's permission).
