As promised, here is the frame that was done during the PTN as an example of just how easy framing is and how it can change the way one feels about pins that
did not catch your eye at first.
I had posted on the trade board looking for these rack pins from DLRP. I was fortunate enough to get emails from 2 different traders Nikki from Spain and Sandra & Elise from across the pond. We arranged the trades and Sandra & Elise were going to deliver the rest of the ones I needed to me at the AK event.
I had picked up this stunning frame for $1.99 at Goodwill and the the beautifully detailed mat was separate and was $0.99. I printed this background from the web. I packaged it all up and took it to the event. Once I got the pins I pulled out the frame and showed everyone around the table how to place the pins according to where the flow of the clouds wrapped the base of the dresses and how to secure the pinbacks using styrofoam before closing the back of the frame.
When the finished frame was turned around it was a remarkable difference! It was a unique experience to see the pins go from their black backer cards to this...
