Do the real versions of these pins even exsist?!
Now I'm back on the hunt for these two LE200's to complete my set.

Oh No... a scrapper! |

I bought a Stitch lollipop pin from someone on that auction site. The seller had great feeback so I wasn't worried but the pin arrived and
it's obviously a fake! I emailed the seller and so far they haven't responded. (I also ordered a Cheshire lollipop pin from them too, it hasn't
arrived yet but I just know it'll be fake too.)

Whats is the sellers name on that auction site so I know to stay clear of them? |

I just got my money back from the seller. Awesome.
JessicaBoy - I'm not sure of the rules regarding naming specific sellers on here but my advice to you is if the seller doesn't show a picture of the actual item you're buying and, with pins that are known to have tons of scrappers, the back of the pin. Don't buy it.

You can say Ebay.
No, you can't list the seller here. And they may have made an honest mistake. I would not assume the worst. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Dory... thanks!
I'm going with the assumption the seller didn't know so I pointed her in the direction of the lollipop scrapper pin thread so she would know in the future.

Hey Kash;
So, sorry to hear what happened. The same thing happened to me when I started collecting. The party's Ebay feedback score was 100%, so, I thought they would be SAFE to order pins from --- WRONG. Over 30% of the pins were scrappers/counterfeits! Why did this person have such a good feedback score? Because, ALOT of individuals on ebay buying the pins fail to educate themselves about what they are buying. They just think - ooh, thats pretty. I'll buy that. never realizing they have just been fleeced. As a result the offending seller never gets a neutral/negative feedback to clue the rest of us in. Then to boot, those same unwitting individuals (buyers), blythely, take their "bargain pins" to trade at the Disney properties and..........need I say more. Thank God, I'm anal retentive (for once a good thing ) and asked questions. That's how I ran into pinpics & Joette, who then, bless her
beautiful heart, directed me to you guys.
On a positive note, I have run into good Ebay sellers that ONLY sell the REAL DEAL. Dyma PS; I left the offending party a neutral feedback, "over 30% of pins scrappers/counterfeits". She wasn't happy with me -- oh well

It really is a shame we can't talk about specific sellers because I can't help but think that if they knew we had someplace to collect all the legit
sellers and the scrapper sellers, the amount of sellers passing along junk would dramaticly decrease. I realize the flip side is a seller could send in people
to talk them up when in reality they're not so hot.
I'm sure if they couldn't sell the pins on ebay they'd just get dumped on lanyards. But if CM's were able to inspect the pin on the spot and say no to scrappers or at least not put the pins given to them back on thier lanyards until after they've been checked, a dent could be made in scrappers.
