I work as an elevator/escalator host on game days. Mostly I am a ballpark guide to help guests get to where they want to go. Also I am there in case said
devices break down or if a guest has an accident, like say fall down.
Ya know, this home economics film really took a weird turn somewhere along the line.

I did a quick add-up of the # of individuals mentionedwithin each responder's group:
littlekiddle = 3 total interested Melonballer = 1 " " Goofy32465 = 1 " " cimcmah1 = 8 " " Halloweenfiend = 1 " " dznycrazy = 1 " " CatsInWonderland = 2 " " impeyan = 1 " " TOTAL ______18_________ Perhaps each group has more than is listed? If we have a group that stays at about the 30 people size, we could hold the trade free of charge at a community room at our local libray in Seattle. However, with 30, would there be enough variety to make everyone happy? Comments please? |

I'm still new to the whole collector thing. So, I don't have an informed opinion to offer. It's a good suggestion to have the event at your
library. I, definitely, would like to see us pull this together. I may be able to include my daughter and hubby, though, they are not as pin-dazed as I am

I would be happy with as many as we can get to show up, under 30 or not- I'm just excited at the prospect of trading close to home!! The libary sounds
like a good place, as well. Maybe if we set a date/time we would have more interest in a set event?

Some things to consider.
We do not have to meet in a library or that sort of place. One thing we might want to watch for is the Disneyland outlet store moving closer to the seattle area. it is in Burlington right now. It was in the Supermall in Auburn last year. My Micechat friends and I went to the outlet and then had lunch in the food court. I brought cookies (as I am very good at baking). The outlet's next move should be in June. Setting a date and place is also a good idea. Whoever does it, please try to get a day the Mariners are not in town so that I can attend. watch for Disney related events in the area. The EMP in Seattle had a great Disney display last year. That is where I met Marty Sklar.

The Emp is the Experience Music Project. They had a Disney: Music Behind the Magic display (and an exclusive pin) last year. What I am trying to suggest is
that if you hear of something Disney coming to the area post about it.
The Disneyland Outlet store can be found here. It is a store that sells overstock and clearance Disneyland items. I have found many pins there as well as ornaments, collectibles, clothes and plush. Chocolate chips are my specialty.
