I did some searches on sister site pinpics.com and couldn't find any of these pins in the database. Can their pins be traded?

Hi, I visited the site, and I personally would probably not purchase from this site, Propins and those other ones mentioned I don't believe are official
Disney pins. The CL/HM pins shown are also discolored. Maybe wait from the advice of more experienced traders from this site to help decide what you do

I didn't look at the site, but propins are tradable and official Disney pins. They are just like sedezmas, not wanted too much, but official.

Best way I know to explain is an example. Type in Sedesma on pinpics
Pin 1978: Minnie - Two Crossed Swords, by Sedesma from Spain is one that will come up. They are very light, and look cheep. They usually have a lot of ridge detail as in sunk in below the edges. They are made in Spain and has black metal base color. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Sedesma is the trade name of a company who make pins under licence in Spain. They were making them before Disney started the whole pin trading option. They are
sold in petrol stations and supermarkets throughout mainland Spain. They are small lighter and much cheaper than Disney made pins.

I have another question. Will CMs trade for these types of pins?? Someone posted on another board that they bought a big bag of pins to give to her DD to trade
at Disney World and at the same time as I was reading it I thought to myself that she made a mistake. If she did, I feel so very bad for her DD.

As long as it has the Disney copy right on the back they have to trade for them. CM don't own the pins. I think Paris is the only exception to this. They
won't accept Sedesmas and from what I understand are a lot pickier about which pins they will accept on a whole, but WDW and DL have to take them if they
meet the pin trading guidelines.

While Sedesmas are 'legal' for trade in the US parks, I wish people wouldn't buy bags of them to use as trader pins...nobody likes to see them on
lanyards!
You can get great bags of trader pins for the same price on the Sale board here - I bought some from one of the Ohana, and it was full of Hidden Mickeys and cute character pins - things I felt no qualm about putting out there into Cast Lanyard Land. JMO. |
