I think they rarely have them on ds.com because Haunted Mansion is an attraction and not a character and Disney limits the venues where you can get those
pins to the parks. A perfect example of this is when DSF released a couple of HHG pins and DLR was not happy about it and DSF was banned from ever releasing a
HHG or HM pin ever again. Of course, WDI does release some but I think they have license to do whatever they want since they release quite a few Figment pins
and he isn't even in California.
