Okay so today I was cruising the dizpins boards as I do most days, when it hit me…. What is it about people who must have a bunch of "stuff" at the end of each post!!!! They've got all the pins they're looking for, pictures, they have two, three, sometimes more of those logos, Oh My God, do we really need to scroll down page after page of all of that!!!!! Is it just me? Or maybe is this just out of control????? |

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a logo or a picture on your signature, but some people have half a page of stuff.

We have never had a limit on images/logos and it is not our intention to do so. We know that the Ohana have their logos, etc., as they mean something special
to each of them.
We have always asked that members use their best judgment in their signatures and be respectful of those that do not have high speed internet, etc. and perhaps alternate logos, etc. Having Yuku makes it even easier now to alternate logos. I am not that "puter" literate, but I believe that there is a way in Explorer and perhaps other browsers also, to turn off images, which may help.

Honestly, I preferred it too when it was just two or three pins in a sig, but if more now are doing larger groupings, then so be it, I'm following the
crowd.
 However, my 'group' pic is actually smaller than my previous image of my logo (now my avatar) and my HG pics, so my sig is now actually
almost half the size it was before which I like.

Am I ok? I mean, if it offends people, I can take the pics of the most wanted pins out to save space/time or whatever. I got my HG pins already so anything
else is just gravy...I won't have a picture of 20 pins that I want, cuz that would be like a third of my want list...LOL But seriously, I can knock 'em
off if people dun like it.

If you are using Firefox you can download the Ad-block plus add-in. It lets you ad block certain images on pages. It's not an issue for me on this board,
but on other board I go to some people have HUGE avatars so I always block those.

I say to each his/Her own...I personally enjoy looking at them. Having said that let me also say this, ever since Dizpins changed to Yuku I'm lost on how
to change pictures or doing anything productive. In addition I can understand your point, but agree with a comment made above--some of these signatures have
meaning to the person. I know it took me 30 minutes to figure out how to delete some of my pics just for this post.

I like the logos, etc. As a visual person it's how I identify most users. That being said I do think one line of logos (side by side) and an HG image is
plenty. I love my pin trading logo, my name logo, my Cars logo, etc. I'd love to post them all every time but out of consideration for those with slow
connections I don't.
At home I have a HS connection so it does not bother me. At work we have a MUCH slower connection. The work connection gives me a great appreciation for those that have to watch their screen bounce up and down as it downloads all the pics. Yuku makes it easy to have five signatures (10 if you're a Yuku Supporter) and switch between them. If anyone needs help adding/adjusting etc. their signature I'd be happy to set up a time to meet you in the chatroom and walk you through it.
