What movie scene makes you cry/tear-up?

The opening sequence to Lion King gets me for some reason. Especially on a really big
screen.

I think a duststorm was going past my house during the scene in Brother Bear where Koda finds out what really happened to his mama.

this crazy world. One day you will understand that."

I cry at the drop of a hat. . .
An example is Stitch with the dumplings and wanting a family.

The scene in Little Mermaid where after Ariel and Prince Eric marry she hugs King Triton and says I love you Daddy just turns on the water works.

Great question!
Actually, I thought of two--and I'm most definitely not a cryer (I don't like crying anyway, it always makes me feel worse than what made me cry in the first place): At the end of Joy Luck Club when the American-born sister is reunited with her two older Chinese-born sisters who their mother had to give up when they were babies, and they were going to finally be reunited. The sister goes to meet them and has to tell them that their mother just passed away! OMG...I SOBBED when I watched that scene! The other one is almost at the end of Sixth Sense, when the mom and the boy are in the car waiting for the accident to clear, and he finally decides to share with his mom what he sees, and tells his mom that his (deceased) grandmother says that the mom always asks a question when the mom visits her grave, and the son says, she says to tell you "yes, every day," and the kid asks his mom what the question was--the mom replies that she asks her mother if she is proud of her. OMG, more sobbing from me... (I love Toni Collette, what a great actress, wonderful in so many types of parts!) I'm getting all choked up now just thinking of them, lol! Hannette |

At the end of Field Of Dreams when Kevin Costner(Ray) asks his Dad if he wants to have a catch. First Shoeless Joe says, "Ease his pain." "Go
the distance." It was you. No, Ray. It was you.
Good night, John. Hey! Dad? You want to have a catch? I'd like that. I get choked up every time. Aprille :-) |

OMG I cry so easily...
Beauty & the beast...when you're supposed to think beast is dead...talk about water works. Man on the Moon...at Andy's funeral...cry like a baby...especially when his mom starts crying. Man, I cry in everything...well ok, no quite everything. I didn't cry in Iron Man.
