Hi all, I am new but thought I would share my impressions of the Everest event. This was only the
third pin event DH and I have attended. First we chose not to bring DS with us and I for one am glad as there was not a children's area. I almost think
that perhaps this event was meant to be geared more to "adults" (notice I did not say grown-up, lol). For what we paid I would say we about
"broke-even". From what I have heard regarding these events in the past I am disappointed. I am also peeved about the water bottles. It seems to
me that they took an order of bottles pre-printing and slapped the Everest logo on it to "give" to us instead of selling to the public assuming we
don't know squat about platics. Sigh. I think I'll turn ours into hanging planters or something. On the plus side, we were quite happy with the
shorter lines for trading which was a nice change from the Sept. event lines. The lighting was great and overall was a much more relaxed pace. We spent
almost the entire time in line with only a short break to make some purchases and throw down a futile yet valient attempt at an auction. We may have spoken
with a few of you (and I am horrible with names, please forgive) but probably not most of you. As for who we were, DH was proably the tallest guy there. He
almost made the Yeti look short.
 If no one wants to do name tags for
Sept. maybe we could have a silly hat/shirt theme.

We had a great time at the event in general,meeting lots of great traders old & new. But I was a bit disappointed in the partting gifts. We didn't even
bother bring home the water bottle, we left it at the hotel! I will say that the staff did a great job. The trading room was great!!!!

The space at Coronado Springs was just perfect...a nice amount of table space, good lighting, air conditioning and I was very appreciative of both the lemonade and the Zephyr Hills water. I loved how we even had our own "private" parking for the event. The food at the Event was fantastic and Vince enjoyed riding Expedition Everest 9 times in a row! I received my stuff in the mail today thanks to a VERY good friend  and it's absolutely awesome!! I'm in total love with the pin bag!! It's a
shame that I had to miss the event, but there's always next time

Shell, I love the HM frame you traded me at the event. It is awesome. Glad you had a great time.
The event was awesome. I liked hanging out and talking to all the cool people from all over the country. I will be there for Sept. Happy Pin trading
