Those of you that saw them, are they bigger than the measurements seem to indicate? Most seem under 2" and the DS pins are that size and turn out so tiny
at times.

Well, it looks like my credit card will not be hit as hard as previous years. For me, there is too much "High School" theming in the PTU offerings. I only found 12 of the 63 items that I consider to be associated with college. The rest were definitely associated with high school. I was expecting more of the pins to have something to do with classes and activities at a school that taught all about pin trading. Some things like, Pin Organizing, Lanyard Designs, Trade Economics, Pin Collecting Probability and Statistics, Pin History, Pin Artwork Appreciation, International Pin Studies, Pin Trading Bowl game, Online Pin Buying, Pin trading dorm life, different pin trading majors/degrees, etc... Now that I've looked over the offerings several times, I think the theme is more like Disney Character High School. I don't really see anything having to do with "pin trading" other than they are all pins. Even so, there are some pins that I definitely want, so I'll be crossing my fingers that I get them on my RSP.

I agree with rkyam, I won't be spending as much this year at the event. I see only 6 items that I have to have. And another 4-5 that I'd possibly
get, just to trade later.
There are no idividual Daisy pins... 
How many of you guys are interested in the Play framed set (Item 57 - Framed Set - School Play Edition Size: 100 Retail Price: $295.00)? It's a lot of money, but I love it. I think I may splurge on this (1/6 things I want), wondering if I'll get it with a LE of 100.

yep, those are the ones that got me too. i do like the hhg formula for scaring too, very clever. how many pins are you able to go for? i may have some extra room on my rsp's (that is, if i figure out how to fill them out!) gail |

I'm definately hoping to be at this event...good health willing. Luckily for me I see about 12 pins that I simply have to have, and none of the framed
sets. There are a couple of Jumbos in there that I'm going to try for though...that should do some damage to my Visa!

I was doing fine until I saw the framed sets...this is so not going to be good...lol. Time to start saving the pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters.
It should be interesting though...there are so many high priced, low LE items that it will be difficult to get everything you want. (Personally, I am thinking it is a blessing in disguise...cause I would be broke if I could get ALL the low LE pins that I liked...lol.) Can't wait until Sept...Friends, Pins, and The Mouse!

Each year there are 5 or 6 pins I want, this year is no different. But this year 3 of them are LE250/$15.95 pins, 1 LE500/$12.95 and one $10.95 pin. The
couple of my maybes are LE250/$15.95. I very rarely buy $12.95 pins and never $15.95 pins, so I am disappointed. I hope to be able to go to the event to
trade and hang out with friends, but I'm not sure I'll even bother with an RS. I'll probably just have my Dad get the one $10.95 pin for me on his
RSP.

I am so disapponted! There is not ONE band pin? Seriously? This is the first year I am actually bummed out on the designs. Forgiven, I think it is a tough
theme, but I would have figured they could have done better designs than these. Oh well, a lot less money I have to spend this year on trading for them!
