Wondering if there is pin trading in other places besides DTD in WDW........I saw that on Friday night May 2 there is one.....unfortunately I am not going until Friday May 9. Do people still go to the Contempory on Fridays???? I am staying at Beach Club Villas and was planning on bringing a pin bag. Any information would be helpful.......... Thanks Dee

The pin trading station just on the other side of the water fountain often has pin traders there. Also, I believe there is a pin trading board inside Mouse Gears. Enjoy your trip to WDW! Dennis-

It's in conjunction with the AK Pin event on Saturday. The early part of it, from 2pm to 6pm, is only open to those who are pre registered participants, if I recall correctly, and open to the public after 6pm I think. Andrea

As you mentioned and Andrea stated, the May PTN was moved up earlier in the month and to the Coranado Springs Resort to coincide with the AK event on Saturday. The only other regular opportunity for trading with other WDW guests would be at Downtown Disney at Pintraders every evening (and sometimes earlier), although there is also sporatic trading at the tables at Epcot's Pin Central. Dizpins Ohana Member Posts: 25 (04/19/08 12:52 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Hi, I just got home from Walt Disney World and here are some of the the pin trading events in which I learned about while down there. Hope you enjoy all these pin trading locations and just let me know if you have any questions of more to add! Saratoga Springs - Has a really big board but not specific times, so you can go to the community hall by the pool and ask to see the board and they will let you trade up to 3 pins per person from it. Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside - Each of these hotel's gift shop has a pin board that you can ask to see and in both hotel's lobbys at 5pm they bring out a different board in which you can trade two pins per person from. Yacht Club Resort - This resort has a board in which they bring out at 5pm in their gift shop. This was one of our favorite spots to come for their event. Boardwalk - At a pin cart that opens at 4pm there is a pin book that you can trade 2 pins with and it is located just as you come off the boat dock. Epcot - MouseGears shop has an event at about 1pm and 5pm in which they bring out a pin board. World of Disney at Downtown Disney - At a table in the pin room of the World of Disney Store there is an event at 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. in which they bring out a book full of pins and you can pick two pin in the order of the trader who arrived first. I would recommend getting their a half hour to 45 minutes early (sometimes I even got their an hour early) in order to get a good spot. Also, the books while I was down there they said that all the hidden pins were hidden mickey pins in the book. Part of the fun too was just trading with all the traders while waiting in line for the cast member to arrive. Scoop - This trip we met scoop and played "secret pin trader game" as well as got him to autograph a pin and recieved a continuing the traditions pin! It was so much fun and we got tons of great pictures with him and his dogs! This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! He is most consistently found early in the mornings in Main Street USA on Mondays and Wednesdays. Pin Trading Shop at Downtown Disney - Various times during the day the workers opened up a 3 fold board on the wall and you were able to trade 2 pins with it. I found quite a few pins i needed just from this board so that was very helpful. Pin Trading Locations - And of course there is trading outside the pin trading shop at Epcot and Downtown Disney where I could be found many times during my trip I hope these locations help you find the pins in which you need! Be sure to keep your eyes open in the food court as well. Some other places to trade pins are at The Wilderness Lodge - on my last trip they had a board out at the cart with only lanyard pins on it and you had to trade a lanyard pin onto it. In Epcot - Back at the kinda Africa themed area. The little shop has a board that is usually at the registers backwards. I have always been asked by the cast member if I would like to trade off of it and then they would show me the board when I traded with them. But you could probably ask to see it as well.
