My sister and I got all-purpose FastPasses from a guy at the Haunted Mansion once, but we didn't need them because she
was in a wheelchair. ^^ Oh well. We got fake roses too.

I recently joined the dizpin board and was telling everyone about our going Apr 9th-12th. It was AWSOME!! The first couple days the weather was great, but the
last two days was hot! Not exactly what we had planned for. I got some very nice invites to the pin trading night on the 11th, which my daughter and I had
planned to attend, but alas we didn't make it because....we received special seating for Fantasimic and the fireworks! My daughter and I had been walking
along Main street the day before and as usual we had our eyes peeled for cm with their lanyards. I stopped one very nice cm and we were talking and she asked
how we were enjoyed ourselves and how many were in our group. I told her just the 2 of us but we like to do the "Mother Daughter" trip at least once
or twice a year. She asked if we had seen the fantasmic and I said yes, but we were spoiled as we have done the reserved balcony before and didn't know if
we wanted to do the whole standing and waiting again. She asked if I was able to sit on the ground and handle steps. (I'm not quite that old..yet) She said
to wait and she would see what she could do. We waited and came back with a certificate for us to sit right down in the front of the lagoon! I thanked her
soooo much! I didn't even realize she was with the dream squad until I read the special certificate with our names on it! It was a wonderful suprise and
very much enjoyed. My daughter keeps thanking me for stopping the cm, as she had seen her but really didn't think about stopping her because it was a busy
crowded day. So sorry for not coming to the pin trading night...but I think you all would understand! :-) Oh...by the way I did get some great pins while we
were there. But like one Ohana said, don't look for them.. they will find you! And when they do...you never know what you're going to get. All the cms
we talked to were the nicest and friendliest people around.
Looking forward to our next trip (taking her brother this time) come October. Hope to be see everything decked out for Halloween! JulieG |

I got preferred seating for the show at the Golden Horseshoe during our trip last November.
It was the day the Christmas Parade was taping. Frontierland and New Orleans Square were totally deserted. It was our first day in the park for the trip and I wanted to show my friend Haunted Mansion (she had chickened out the year before). On the steps leading from the landing of the rafts to Pirates Lair' to Haunted Mansion there were two cast members with lanyards. Me being the excited tourist I of course traded with them. They noticed I had pins from Paris on my lanyard, and I ended up trading one of them with the lady of the couple because she admired it so much. We started chatting because it was so empty, and apparently me being bubbly and on an adrenaline rush amused them. 
We were made Honorary Citizens, and then the lady asked me if we liked Frontierland. I replied "yes" - my poor friend didn't get to say much LOL - and she presented us with a voucher for special seating for the show. I had heard about the YOMD promotion and the gifts and such, but never expected to get anything.

We have been WDW AP holders for the last 3 years. We go at least once a month for one to two days.
We have gotten squat and have essentially given up.
We have not even seen the dream squad giving out goodies to people. At this point I would be excited just to see the magic happen! No I am not bitter
but I can tell you we have the luck of a Disney Villan. LOL. I do enjoy seeing the new designs but miss the fairy wings and monorail
decorations.

We got so much in November 06, i can't believe people who go regularly don't get more. We got just about everything except the 'big' prizes..
no idea if we will be so lucky this year. Does anyone know when exactly the prizes cease being given out?

My family and I were given lanyards on 6/3/08 @ DL by the flower/seating area next to the Haunted Mansion/Train exit.
In the spirit of giving, we also saw a dad and his daughter listening to the jazz band with their backs to the Dream Team Cast members, so we told the dad to get the lanyard for him and his daughter. They were so happy and thanked us for telling them, otherwise they'd have never noticed the giveaway. That was even more fun than getting the lanyards ourselves!! I love this 'surprise' giveaway!! I can't wait to visit later again in the summer.
