I was just looking at mystery tin pins on the bay and a seller was stating in thier description that the real pins have a post with a single tack back. Just
want to make everyone aware that the real pins have a post with a double tack on both sides of the post. The scrappers have the single tack back. I hope this
helps.

Well I got my set that I bought as a presale. All of them are the scrapper version. I have filed with paypal to try to return them and get a refund and will
let you all know what happens. Paypal does have 2 different places in their dispute form that is for counterfeit, knock-offs and fraud so I am hoping that they
cover me! I paid ALOT for the set of pins that I bought and I know others who have paid more. I truely hope that I can get this resolved and I hope EVERYONE
else who bought a presale will take the time to do a dispute and hit these sellers where it hurts... in the bank!
A very unhappy me, Shell |

Extra Lollipop Pin! | ||

I just needed to share that thanks to Abssyinian, I just received 4 tins. (Thanks again Nicole!) I got a good assortment of pins, but none of the LE 200s.
But a strange thing happened on opening the last tin (which was sealed with the original shrink wrap, each pin in its sealed black plastic bag...), there were
5 pins in the tin, 2 of the pins were the LE 600 Minnie pin! What do you think will happen when they get to the last tin and they only have 3 pins left???
I am sure the leftovers are 1 Cheshire, 1 Stitch and 1 Tinker Bell! Just the 3 pins I need to complete my set... What do YOU think they will do with the leftover pins?? |

Good luck with your dispute, Shell - I'm sure that you'll win it (especially considering that your pins were mailed and received before WDW had them
for sale.

No problem I got a good assortment of pins, but none of the LE 200s. What do you think will happen when they get to the last tin and they only have 3 pins left??? Haha! I've had that happen to me with YGO packs, but never pins! Congrats! Yeah, I wonder who will get the 3 pin pack... Also, no one seems to be getting the good pins. My tins had nothing lower than Tink, neither did Ashley's. And neither did the lady I sent 10 tins to. I guess the rare babies are sitting in the back of the storage closet... What do YOU think they will do with the leftover pins?? Good point! They must have gotten to the end and been like..."oh, %*%#!". Maybe they had extras (since it's cheaper to print bigger runs)and they grabbed one before they destroyed them and shoved it in. So maybe there will be 801 Tinks |

ShellKervel wrote: I have had this happen to me before as well! Be sure to leave negative feedback, I always check to see if they have any before I bid on anything. Also, if you paid by credit card via paypal, call them and dispute the charge! I hope you are able to get it resolved! Shell, If all else fails you can file a postal fraud complaint http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/fraud/ or a BBB complaint or a complaint with the FBI http://www.ic3.gov/ Hope it all works out with Paypal...my luck with them has been abysmal, took a BBB complaint and an FBI complaint to get my money back from two scrapper sellers on Ebay. Cheers, Shawn

Is it possible to post a picture of the back of the authentic pin?
There were tons of lollipop pins all over Epcot today. The ones I picked up I believe have the single tack back, BUT the word CHINA is not scratched out. Also, the character's tongues seem an off color pink.

I don't have a pic, but I can tell you there's definitely two tacks- one on each side of the posts. Immediately underneath that is the PT mouse ears logo, then right under that is the "Pin # of # le size" box, and under that is the "disney china" box. At this point, unless you have seen an official pin for sure to compare with, I would assume anything on a lanyard is a scrapper- especially a low edition pin. ::shrug:: |

I can take a picture of the back of my pin that came from the tin, but I dont know how to post it. Maybe Shell could help me out with that again.
