Jeremy Bentham is John Locke? Did that get revealed sometime in the past? When and why did he change his name? Can anyone enlighten me? Scratching my head

It does fit: Bentham's ambition in life was to create a "Pannomion", a complete Utilitarian code of law. Bentham not only proposed emany legal and social reforms, but also expounded an underlying moral principle on which they should be based. This philosophy, utilitarianism, argued that the right act or policy was that which would cause "the greatest happiness of the greatest number" - a phrase of which he is generally, though erroneously, regarded as the author - though he later dropped the second qualification and mbraced what he called "the greatest happiness principle," often referred to as the principle of utility. I'm gussing he went by an assumed name to go undetected by his family and anyone looking for the island... erica

Call me crazy, but I'm not quite sure that Locke really is dead. With all of the random twin stuff on the show and the fact that the chosen ones on the
island seem to be able to transport themselfs off the island and across time, I'm not sure what to expect...which is why these next two seasons should be
amazing...hopefully it all makes sense and is believable.

I think that Locke is dead, but i'll qualify it by saying "at the moment". :)
When Ben said to Jack that everyone had to go back to the island in order for things to be fixed, Jack turned and started for the door before Ben stopped him. "I said 'all of you'". He meant that Locke also had to be taken back. since the island heals people (when it wants to, apparently), I think that taking John back to the island will revive him. Just my two cents. I love this show and look forward to the next two seasons...it's gonna be a wild ride! Cheers! Magic
