Here is the situation. I got a trade offer on Saturday. I replyed to the person to accept the offer (I AGREED TO THE TRADE). The trader replied with their info and asked me which pin I wanted and yes they would love to make the trade. This was Saturday. I check my email today and I sent a reply with my info and clear up pin that I wanted. I told the trader that I had just mailed the pin to them. (That was this morning) Then I get an email from the traders saying that they never agreed to the trade, that they only emailed to say that the pin was available. Due to me failing to email on Sunday what pin I wanted they traded both. Sounded funny to me especially right after I emailed them about sending the pin I had agreed to... So my question is...when you pin trade online When you pin trade online and there is a delay in response, do you (Total Votes: 8) - Closed send a follow-up email to the other trader and explain that you have other offers, but you want to make sure they no longer want it (6 / 75%) Jump on the best trade possible even though you have already offered it to someone else (1 / 12.5%) I don't ever trade online due to these type of problems (1 / 12.5%) Email: Udan626@gmail.com

By your post I check my email today and I sent a reply with my info and clear up pin that I wanted. it sounds like things still needed to be cleared up by your own admission. I don't see the original email as an agreement of trade. Also, a couple days delay in responding might have caused the other party to think you may no longer be interested. Sometimes, pin traders have little patience when it comes to these types of matters. While clearer and timelier communication probably could have avoided the misunderstanding, I don't think that the other party necessarily did anything wrong. JMO. However, my first email to the trader stated exactly what I wanted to trade for. That's why I was a bit confused when they emailed again to ask which pin. I mean I copied it directly from thier request. I guess I just assumed. It was an international trade so I guess that had something to do with the miscommunication, sometimes the wording can be mistaken. Oh well...another trade an other day. But would you agree that there could have been a little more communication before trading away both pins? I mean we are only taking 1 day, not a few days or a week Email: Udan626@gmail.com

Also as you know, some pin traders are so focused on just getting what THEY want, common courtesy, manners, ethics, etc... all get tossed to the wind. When getting a pin becomes top priority, hardly anything someone may do to acquire a pin or the reaction people have when they are unable to get a pin surprises me.

Dizpins Ohana Member Posts: 507 (04/21/08 05:39 PM) Dizpins Ohana Member More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	If I get a reply to a request I have sent and I send them a reply telling them yes but want to know which pin...I would not go and trade it to someone else without at least a courtesy email to the first person. And I wouldn't trade for non-reply unless it had been at least a few days AFTER the courtesy email that I had other offers, and then I would let them know I was going to go ahead and trade it to someone else. It sounds like there was some ambiguity, certainly, as far as whether the trade was finalized, however, it seems strange that given that they didn't know which pin you wanted they would go ahead and trade BOTH pins away?

For everyone, please feel free to e-mail any of the Dizpins or Pinpics Mods or send an e-mail to info@pinpics.com or info@dizpins.com and we will be happy to assist you. Also, here is the link for the Universal Trade Complaint System, which you can use to file complaints or concerns. While I know we all tend to get frustrated when trades do not go right, all of the Mods would prefer to handle these concerns either in the aboved linked Complaint Department or via e-mails.
