The Haunted Mansion collection will be released at Disney's Pin Traders at DTD and wristband distribution will be used.

For the last big Haunted Mansion pin release on 04/18 I arrived at 5:20 a.m. and made my purchase at 10:20 a.m., exactly 5 hours in line. For the 2007 Star Wars Weekend event I waited in line for 4 hours (but won't be doing that again...).

How the heck does one wait in line five hours for last year's pinbassador release and not get one? I was there with my husband and my brother and sister-in-law. I can't remember if we got there at 4:30 or 5:30 (but the latter is my guess) but it was nowhere near five hours previous to the 7am wristband handout, and we were far from the end of the line.

In the neighborhood of 10 hours a few times, and there wasn't a single HM pin being released. Just a dinosaur pin at MGM, and some others that I don't even remember. In 2001 the monthly pin events commanded lots of overnight stays. I slept on the ground at TTC starting around 10 PM and we filled up all of the entry gates for an AK release starting at 11 PM. and slept in my car in an orderly alignment of cars and vans at the MK parking lot for a release at the contemporary. Personally not a HM fan but each to his own. Having said that there isnt a pin made I would line up for three hours to get. My question though is what is the longest you have ever waited in line for a pin? I'm asking it here because HM fans seem to be the most obssesed.

ES did run the last release. All ES staff arrived for the release, handed out the wrist bands and ran the lines. I hope its an LE 100, but I guess we'll find out on release day. Scott

Scott, I heard it from an Event Services manager that it was LE 100; however, this set isnt beiong released through them....unless of course parking lot all nighters are now being sponsored by ES

At the event I heard 100 also, I am assuming at this point the posted LE of 300 is the correct number...

I attended the Exepedition Event and they had the HM Frame set available for display. When I asked the Pin Expert ?? at the desk what the edition size was on the frame and he said 100, but I had heard it different and then looking on Disney it says 300. Did other people ask and were told 100, or did I just catch the wrong person?
