Nope -

Its not just you. Figment has been metamorphised into the golden goose.

To get all the figment pins this year, you would need to spend $1425:
$900 for the Super jumbo frame set (cheaper than the individual frame set)
$180 for the four sculptures
$195 for the Lunch Frame Set
$150 for the Cap and Gown frame set

This is not counting the Class Photo super jumber pin at $110 or the School Club jumbo at $40. Figment appears on these, but...

I'm not sure whether to be excited over all the Figment items this year or if I should feel like Disney is capitalizing on the popularity of the character by sticking Figgie in all these framed sets. If I want everything it's going to be impossible to stick to a reasonable budget. I'm definitely looking forward to the event but I still have mixed feelings over the pins... Maybe it's just me?

Between mom and I...there really isn't too too much we have to have.

And Roger, the gift pins (assuming we get any gifts ) could be those type of pins...who knows.

I'm not a fan of most of them, but it doesn't matter anyway, because I won't be there. Luckily, someone has offered to pick up the Science Class pin for me. You can never go wrong with Beaker!

The regular pins are standard event pin size, like Expedition: Pins and HapPins were. I don't have a ruler, so I can't be more percise...

Most of them were at E: P, so we got to see them in person. Very nice.

Is there anyway of knowing the real size of these pins, reason why we are asking: When we purchase from Disney Shopping and it
is a 2" pin, sometimes they are sooooooooooooooo small and other times they are a pretty nice size, but it said 2"?????

These are saying some of the pins are smaller than 2" and that worries me. I know that we can return items at the event registration, but, I was hoping for all of us to know ahead of time so we do not drive the...

That super jumbo is ever so tempting

Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts - yay! I'm definitely going to want to trade for those!

And wow, the rest of the designs are awesome and very clever! Great job, pin designers!

But oh, my sympathies to the Figment collectors! There go a few mortgage payments!

And now, my big temptation - that darned super jumbo with the Queen of Hearts on it! I can't do it. I know I can't do it....

i agree with nicole, theres alot of variety which makes them more appealing character wise. and i think they are really cute pins, the most likey to Uh pin with dory is so funny and clever just wish we were done with the wedding and school part of life so we could go!

I'm actually quite in love with most of these pins. I was not happy when I heard the theme last year, but they really knocked it out of the park for me. Cris, Ash, and I were both excited and terrified when we saw the pics at E: P...

More than anything, I'm happy to see that there are Jessica pins this year, and that the Tink pins are awesome looking. Also, there's a greater variety of characters than last year, which is nice. Mr. Toad's as Driver's Ed?...

There were some very funny and clever pins in there. I would love the Aurora most likely to. . ., but I won't be out in Florida, so I'm not going to worry about it. Maybe some day I'll come across it, maybe I won't.

What on earth is up with all the Figment sculpts and completer pins? That is just absurd and quite frankly - it's overkill. They know Figment has a loyal fanbase and are just trying to cash in on that. Absolutely nuts. Do I want all of them? Of course. Will I get most of them? Probably not. I'm starting to not care anymore - it's past the point of being ridiculous!
