candace, we're gunna be bummed to not be there but we really can't do weekends especially if we want money for rent :P maybe one day when we get outta retail we can jump in on a weekend meet!

I am game. I used to come up for a lot of the Sac meets...I really miss my pin friends up there. I am available any weekend until May 30...June is really difficult for me.

Anyway, please let us know...it will be great to meet new people and trade pins.

(Side note - Cheree and Anth...I would miss you! We chat so much it would be great to actually meet.

I am very glad this is picking up speed! I have attended functions at The Meridian before and it is wonderful! I would even bring some pizzas from my pizzeria! www.cirospizza.com I am not against having it at Ciro's but my vote is for Rocklin.

It seems to me that Saturday or Sunday early afternoon is the best for everyone.

How does a meeting at The Meridian Apartment's Clubhouse and pool sound? It is located in Rocklin which is 5 miles from The Galleria Mall and only 1 mile from Highway 65. The Clubhouse is beautiful and spacious with a kitchen, a bar, and restrooms. We could take advantage of the outdoor pool and BBQ. I was thinking a BBQ Potluck would be great, especially with summer coming. Hurray to summer food! I'll bring the watermelon and hotdogs!
Folsom sounds great too, but it can be...

Tonya and I (we both live in Pleasanton) would most likely be able to attend a Sacramento area pin meet during the weekend (we have done so in the past); if there was date certain (with enough notice) you would probably get additional Bay Area Pin Traders on a weekend event. In the past, about 6 or so pin traders have travelled up to Sacramento area when there use to be events on Sundays (the last one was three years ago I think).

The only upcoming weekends Tonya and I are not...

the majority of our hours are weekends at night so we'd have to pass, but if more people can go on the weekend we can pass up the meet so others can attend. with anth in school and us both working at the same place (and well me already having to take of multiple weekends for my best friend wedding related stuff) taking time off isnt an option for us :P

Ok, I would be in for either but prefer the weekend in order to INCLUDE the Bay Area Pin Traders. Sorry to throw a curve but I own a pizza restaurant in Folsom Ca that has plenty of room for pin trading on the weekend (if the mall idea doesnt pan out)

I need to get out a map and look up where exactly Roseville is...never been there! I assume it's very close to Sacramento, though.

As long as it's not hot outside, a picnic is fine by me. A mall or restaurant is also OK!

Since it is a weekday, I am guessing that the majority of the Bay Area group will have to pass...most of us work during the week. We can only go and play on the weekends.

Hi everyone! A meet would be fantastic! A quick word of caution about the Roseville Galleria ... we had a couple of meets there and were told that we needed advanced approval from their Mall Administration office. Pooh4Lou tried and tried to reach these folks and were finally told that they did not want us there

Let's have a NorCal pin meet so all of us who can't make it out to the bay area have a chance to meet and trade.

What I need from you guys is:
1. where you would like to meet - Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto (or suggest a place)
2. when you would like to meet - Weekdays/Weekends Afternoon/Evening

As soon as a few people give me input I will plan the meet and find us someplace snazzy to host it.
