Measurements of the backgroundare 8.5 x 11 and the mat is 11 x 14. I never measured the actual frame but it's big!

As promised, here is the frame that was done during the PTN as an example of just how easy framing is and how it can change the way one feels about pins that did not catch your eye at first.

I had posted on the trade board looking for these rack pins from DLRP. I was fortunate enough to get emails from 2 different traders Nikki from Spain and Sandra & Elise from across the pond. We arranged the trades and Sandra & Elise were going to deliver the rest of the ones I needed to...

We all know I like Tigger (especially if you saw me at the AK event!)

So I figured I would ease back into framing since there is so much chaos going on in my house presently.

I did one frame today but have several backgrounds printed and ready for pins! I also have a frame done that I need to take a pic of that was actually done on site at the AK event PTN to show everyone how easy it was! For now you guys get today's frame and a pic of the wall that we call Pooh...

Disneyland Holiday Snowglobe Series - 2007

I spent part of December in Disneyland last year and was thrilled to be able to get the entire series of these pins to commemorate my trip. I had planned on framing them, but when I saw them up close they didn't really look like snowglobes to me, but rather Christmas ornaments with snow in them. When I got home I packed them away until I had the time and idea of how to frame them.

I love to scrapbook, and have been learning a thing or two about paper piecing. My thought was...

I had this collage that my mother had purchased in France. I recently found it in the basement and had it hanging on the door to my craft room. It fell down and it was sitting on my desk for a while. Last week I was straightening up and picked up the frame ad BAM it hit me. HOW perfect is this for the Disney Shopping Paint pins!? I hope you like!

Finally I finished my DCL Pins Frame

Finally I finished the frame for pins that I bought and trade during the trip which I did with my family in the Disney Magic Cruise on 2007 Christmas. In order to design the frame I was inspired by the style that uses in the cruise for some printings. The frame measures 16x20 inches, in the center I placed a 5x7 inches familiar photo with Pirate Mickey. This it is the third pins frame with Disney pins that I have done.

Well, I decided to post some pictures of my personal method of displaying pins...The banner! I made this banner myself, and it was pretty simple to do if you're handy with a sewing machine. As someone who began collecting just over a year ago, I wanted to have a place I could look at my pins and arrange them in different ways. I bought some blue fabric with silver stars (which I thought was very Disney-ish), a large dowel rod painted silver, and some silver nylon...

I loved this series from the preview and loved them even more when they arrived. I had an idea of how I wanted to frame them and decided against the first idea as I would have had to ruin a perfectly good LP to pull the idea off. I decided to showcase them a different way.

Each little LP cover is 3" by 3" and is handmade to actually hold a mini LP (if there was such a thing). The scrapbooker/crafter in me took over and this is what is the product of that. Hope you like...
