fake vinylmations

ok just got back from WDW and from some research i have done it seems like i got a fake vinylmation (the valentines one) from what i have been reading on the back of the fakes the mickey embosment doesnt go all the way to the edge of the backs if this is true please let me know either way the worst part is i got it off a cast member that seemed pretty knowledgeable so let me know either way thanks

This is my first post here at Dizpins. I just purchased one of these boxed sets and was curious if anyone else had it, and was able to post large pictures of it for the purpose of comparison. Since purchasing it, I realize that the emblem is imposed over the image on the poster. For example, under each of them is the same exact picture in the same spot. Ariel Bride Pins from DLRP comparison

What do you guys think? I have two of the DLRP Ariel bride pins that I need help determining if one is a scrapper or if they are in fact two seperate pins. The difference in the pins is that the first one pictured below has a yellow dress with a ton of TINNNYYYY little flecks of glitter, her eyes are ALL gold and crazy looking and one nub attached to the pin post (I will refer to that one as "Yellow"). The second pin, has two nubs BESIDES the pin post, has glitter but not a ton...

Recieved this pin today from ebay and didn't assume that it was a fake and I am still not sure if it is. However what I received with the pin (as a gift) made me think it is a fake.
I felt compelled to post this because if it is a fake it does not have the word coupon misspelled as other scrappers of this pin do.

The gift pin was listed on pinpics (#26297) and was in a baggy as shown in the pictures below.
The back of the gift stitch pin says:
LIMITED EDITION...

Pin # 73769 on pinpics.com. I have a possible scrapper, the first in first release is spelled incorrectly and the number of toes on Hamm don't seem to match. Wondering/hoping its the picture but suspecting not. Thanks

Update, well sorry to waste the space here, definitely a scrapper as this pin set gets released in 6 days. Got it in an ebay pin lot, surprise right?

I recently purchased the "Jasmine Married Princess" pin from the Paris Married Princess series, and I really want to make sure it's legit. I also purchased the Cinderella one of the same series, and they're both completely different! so I know one is a scrapper for sure, and I tend to think it's the Cinderella.

The dress on Cinderella is sparkly, but very white, and the sparkles are larger. The pin itself is also very light in weight, but so is my Tinkerbell...

i'm very new to the whole disney pin collecting thing, and have really gotten into it. found a bunch on ebay and bought them, not realizing there are such things as "scrappers". now, as they're coming in, i'm thinking that the majority of them are scrappers i'm sending the ones back that i can, but a couple have "no return" policies, so it's my loss on those ones.

it's frustrating....

Hidden Mickey Haunted Mansion scrappers

I traded for a few hidden mickey haunted mansion pins (back in August when they first came out)...I know some are legit because I got them off a cast member who had just refreshed his lanyard (got the entire set since there were 4 of us there trading)....

However, now I see that there are scrappers. How can you tell which is the real one and which one is the scrapper? Specifically for the haunted mansion series?

hi, folks. i received, through a trade, what i believe are counterfeit vinylmation pins. i took some (poor camphone) pictures to share notable differences between the fake and genuine pins.

the top three pins are real, the bottom two are fake:

though similar in thickness, glossiness, and polished edges, the fakes do feel a bit lighter:
