WDW Haunted Mansion Pin of the Month pricing discrepancy??

I saw the last WDW HM pin of the month at disneypins.com just moments ago. For December it's $9.95. I was thinking they were much more expensive so I did a bit of research on these pins for the entire year. --I'm focusing on only the pin of the month HM pins.

There were, in fact, a few price changes. They are all the same size pin, right? What would cause Disney to price them differently? Do you think this Disney's response to dwindling sales because of the...

Question about mystery sets

Hey all! I was just wondering if anyone knows how they divvy out the mystery sets when an order is placed. I will try and clarify: are the different combinations in different piles/boxes and get pulled randomly or do they know what they are giving you each time? I am saying this because I ordered 4 rounds of sets containing 2 each time and I never got the same combo in 1 round(actually once it was only 1 and the last time was 3 but average of 2 sets per round). I did get 2 of the same total...

Hi all!
I'm very new to pin trading. I've heard you can find trader pin lots to buy that have a lot of pins for cheap that you can use to trade at the parks, etc. My question is: Is buying these lots a good idea? How do you know if you'll be able to trade them? How can the sellers sell them for so cheap and still make a profit when most pins cost at least 6 bucks?

Hey all,

I just picked up pin #12490 '12 Months of Magic-Mickey State Pin (Mississippi)' in Orlando, so I went to add it to my traders list. What I noticed was that this pin has a much higher want-to-trade ratio (48 wants, 2 trades) than most of the other 49 state pins, many of which have more trades than wants.

Does anybody know why it has such a high want-to-trade ratio? Any information would be helpful. Thanks, Mike.

AP pins

I received eight AP pins I bought online. They are all stamped with the same AP stamp. They all were chipped on the front where the AP stamp was struck. I am horrified because I have 100's of authentic AP pins. What do I do.This individual now has multiple pins for sale, all AP's.All on a auction site. What do I do.

It's only one being released, but FINALLY Disney is showing a release of a Hanukkah pin! LE 3000, scheduled to be released at DLR on November 12 (I forgot the release date for WDW, but it's after DLR's date).

I went to DLR yesterday.and traded a pin off a castmembers landyard. It is this one Pin 70489: DLR - Eeyore June Gloom. But its different so im trying to figure out if its fake or a misprint. The background is silver and Disneyland park has no color. The ground is yellow. The castle is pink,space mountain and splash mountain is grey green.The wall is white. And 2009 has no color.Everything else seems the same. I hope somone can help....

Last week I traded for a pin at WDW that's the Eye of Providence. It's the eye inside a pyramid that's on the dollar bill and in the logo for the movie National Treasure. The back has the Disney copyright. Anyone have any ideas of its origin?

According to Pinpics there are fakes of this pin showing up. My daughter has been looking for this pin for sometime and we now have an opportunity to trade for one so I am wondering if anyone has any more information on the fake...how to determine if this pin is real.
